The main protagonists of this film are children and young people, rarely represented in African and international media, even though they make up the majority of the continent's population.
There are 80 million children and young people being exploited in Africa. Despite the national and international support and the uphill battles faced by individuals and organizations fighting this type of exploitation in Africa, these children still endure all kinds of moral and physical abuse.
Forced to work in order to be financially independent and to help their parents from a young age, African children and youth workers need help fighting against poverty and need support in their quest for better working conditions and a better life. They have already issued twelve claims and fight to be part of the decision making process that affect their lives and wellbeing.
Since then, the movement has attracted a lot of sympathy and has spread to thirty other African countries. They released a collective photo book in order to show their day to day life and the harsh conditions they live in...
