The film follows the Baye Fall community of Sénégal, on the island of Gorée, in the village of Ndème as well as in Touba, capital of Mourides, through their annual great Magal pilgrimage.
It aims at exposing the origins of the Baye Fall and the aspect of African Islam they embody through their religious chants, their robes, their attachment to work and creativity and the solidarity and harmony that binds them together as they go.
